Researcher and Routine Data Study Manager

Rob is a researcher and routine data study manager at the Centre for Trials Research in Cardiff. Rob has expertise in the design and conduct of large, complex multi-disciplinary trials and studies that use routinely collected data (routine data) and/or linked data to deliver policy-relevant population health research. Rob is part of the HDR UK Transforming Data for Trials Workstream team, developing a wide range of training resources to enable the clinical trials community to effectively use healthcare systems data. Rob has a particular interest and expertise in: -Supporting public involvement and engagement to improve communication and build public trust in the use of routine data in trials -Identifying and evaluating routine data sources for use in supporting clinical trials -Assessing the feasibility of accessing routine data for trials -Improving the use and accessibility of routine data for trialists, for assessing trial outcomes and supporting trial recruitment
