How do I register for an account on HDR UK Futures?

To register for an account, visit the HDR UK Futures homepage and click on the "Register for free" button. You’ll be prompted to provide some basic information such as your name, email address, a public username, and a password. Once submitted, you’ll receive a confirmation email to verify your account.

How do I activate my account after signing up?

After signing up, you’ll receive an email with the subject "Account Activation." It will say: "You're almost there! Click the button below to activate your account to access engaging, high-quality Futures courses. Note that you will not be able to log back into your account until you have activated it."

Click the "Click here to activate your account" button in the email. If the button doesn’t work, copy and paste the provided link (e.g., https://home.hdruklearn.org/activate/34f09cd1c2664aad85e3bababc8f236e?next=https%3A%2F%2Fhome.hdruklearn.org%2F) into your browser. Once activated, you can log in and access the platform. Check your spam or junk folder if you don’t see the email within a few minutes, or contact learn@hdruk.ac.uk if you encounter issues.

What should I do if I forget my password?

If you forget your password, go to the login page and click on "Forgot Password" button. Enter your registered email address, and we’ll send you a link to reset your password. Follow the instructions in the email to create a new password.

Are the courses on HDR UK Futures free?

Some courses on HDR UK Futures are free, while others may require a fee. You can find details about course costs on the individual course pages. Free courses are clearly marked, and any fees for paid courses or certificates will be outlined before you enrol.

How do I enrol in a course?

Once you’re logged into your account, browse the course catalogue, select the course you’re interested in, and click "View Course". If the course is free, you’ll gain immediate access. For paid courses, you’ll need to complete the payment process before accessing the content.

Can I access course materials after completing a course?

Yes, in most cases, you can access course materials after completion as long as you maintain an active account. However, availability may depend on the specific course policies, so check the course details for more information.

What do I do if I encounter technical issues on the platform?

If you experience technical difficulties, such as trouble logging in or accessing course content, please contact the Training Team at learn@hdruk.ac.uk. Provide a brief description of the issue, and we’ll assist you as soon as possible.

How can I get a Verified Certificate of completion?

Certificates are available for some courses upon successful completion and, in certain cases, payment of a fee. Check the course description to see if a certificate is offered. To claim your certificate, you can either click the 'Purchase Certificate' button on your learner dashboard, or the 'Upgrade' button from the course learning page.

Who can I contact for questions about course content?

For specific questions about course content, reach out to the Training Team at learn@hdruk.ac.uk. We’ll either assist you directly or connect you with the appropriate course instructor.

Is there an age restriction for using HDR UK Futures?

Yes, the platform is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. Access or use by anyone under 18 is not permitted, as outlined in our Terms of Service.

How do I update my account information?

To update your account details, such as your email address or password, log in to your account, go to the "Account Settings" or "Profile" section, and edit the information as needed. Be sure to save your changes.

What happens if a course I’m enrolled in is discontinued?

If a course is discontinued, HDR UK will notify you via email or through the platform. You may lose access to the course content, but we’ll aim to provide advance notice so you can complete it or download any available materials beforehand.

Can I get a refund for a paid course or certificate?

Refunds are available under specific conditions. For courses with a certificate, you can request a refund if the course hasn’t been completed and the certificate hasn’t been issued. Refer to the "Payments Cancellations and Refunds" section of our Terms of Service for full details.
