HDR UK Wales is one of the nine regional networks within Health Data Research UK (HDR UK), the UK’s national institute for health data research. HDR Wales aims to improve health and societal outcomes by linking and using health and administrative data throughout the country to save and improve lives. Using the SAIL databank, Wales works with research groups across healthcare, academia and beyond via pioneering informatics and advanced data modelling techniques on projects for public good. A cross-disciplinary team based at sites across Wales collaborate on research projects and infrastructure solutions with an open outlook are keen to work with others towards a common goal.
