Videos / HDR UK South West Seminar - Sharing Tools and Artefacts for Reproducible Simulations (STARS) in healthcare (44:55)
This talk will provide an introduction to the UKRI funded research project: Sharing Tools and Artefacts for Reproducible Simulations (STARS) in healthcare: a two year project advancing Open Science practices in health data science for academia and the NHS. We present early findings from our reproducibility study of discrete-event simulation models used in health research; including barriers to reproducibility and facilitators for re-usability. Although STARS is in the context of simulation modelling much of the material is generalisable to other types of modelling and analysis.
