I will present an overall, timestamped and multifaceted understanding of the development of clinical Natural Language Processing (NLP) in the UK in the past 15 years. These are analysis results using a data driven approach to reveal the key insights in this area. Specifically, I will present findings in the following key aspects: 1. Stakeholders: NHS, clinical professionals, informatics researchers, funders, industry 2. Readiness: NHS/Industry take-ups, exemplar projects, existing tools, datasets, open source 3.
