This free webinar introduces the SEDH team, their work with Unique Property Reference Numbers (UPRNs) and set the scene for a series of bite-sized videos co-produced with the HDR UK Capacity Building team on the same topic. In this webinar we will dive into UPRNs in detail, explaining what they are, how they are created and used by the public sector, how they can be used for research, and how researchers should engage with the public when conducting health research using UPRNs. We will talk about the steps researchers are taking to protect privacy, and some actions researchers can employ to build public trust. We will also cover why best practice in governance, security and public involvement is paramount when using UPRNs.
