Professor Annette Peters is a leading epidemiologist known for her pioneering work on the links between air pollution and cardiovascular disease. She holds a national leadership role in the German National Cohort (NAKO) - one of Europe’s largest population based studies - where she serves as Principal Investigator for the study centre in Augsburg and the central biorepository at Helmholtz Munich.
