Accessing Health Data
This video lesson will introduce you to the different sources of data used by health data researchers. It also identifies some of the common themes and types of data and explains the differences between them. This includes self-reported and professionally recorded data, cross sectional and longitudinal data, and research data and routinely collected data. We explore what limitations different types of data has and what to be aware of if using these types of data for research purposes.
By the end of this video lesson, you will understand what different data sources health data researchers use, and their limitations.
