Data in healthcare is complex and a 'safe' approach is needed when managing or using this data.

To help do this, Trusted Research Environments (TRE's) are created. In this video, we are going to help you to understand:

  • The complexities of working with patient data,
  • How to use a ‘safe approach’ when working with this data and what the ‘five safes’ approach entails,
  • We will also introduce you to Trusted Research Environments and the basics involved in their use for processing and analysing health data.
