About

Amaka is a public health advocate, co-founder of Communect, and a board member of the Co-production Network for Wales. Currently in her final year of medical training, she holds an MSc in Public Health and is deeply committed to advancing health equity through collaborative approaches and community engagement. Amaka has worked extensively with the Welsh Government and Public Health Wales, co-producing resources and initiatives that promote person- and community-centered solutions. Through her work with Communect, she develops innovative tools to amplify community voices and drive equitable health outcomes. Amaka has a particular interest and expertise in: Facilitating meaningful public involvement to shape impactful health initiatives. -Designing co-production strategies to empower marginalized communities. -Bridging the gap between public health policy and frontline clinical care. -Supporting health equity through culturally sensitive approaches. -Facilitating meaningful public involvement to shape impactful health initiatives.
