Deputy Chief Scientist for UK Biobank and an Associate Professor of Cardiovascular Science, based in the Nuffield Department of Population Health at the University of Oxford
Adam Lewandowski is the Deputy Chief Scientist for UK Biobank and an Associate Professor of Cardiovascular Science, based in the Nuffield Department of Population Health at the University of Oxford. His research has been funded by the British Heart Foundation and Medical Research Council, largely focused on using multi-modality, deep phenotyping approaches to identify cardiac and vascular changes in people at risk of cardiometabolic diseases. Adam joined the UK Biobank scientific team as Deputy Chief Scientist to support the imaging program and to develop the scientific strategy for future enhancements, including the Brain Health Study and Healthy Ageing Assessment.
