Anna Woolman leads public engagement at Health Data Research UK (HDR UK) and PEDRI’s communications working group. With over ten years of experience in science communication, live science events and grant giving, she currently oversees Take the Lead, HDR UK’s first national public engagement programme supporting under-served communities to lead their own data activities and connect with data scientists. Throughout her career, she has supported scientists from many different backgrounds to build their confidence with communication and public engagement.
