About
Ali is a Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement Manager at Health Data Research UK, where she leads involvement and engagement for the Big Data for Complex Disease programme and chairs HDR UK’s PPIE Leads Community. She also works as an Operational Manager for PEDRI’s Learning and Development workstream, supporting the development and delivery of resources to strengthen public involvement and engagement practice across data research. Ali has over 13 years of experience across healthcare, clinical research, health technology and public involvement in the UK and US. Her work focuses on ensuring that patients and communities can meaningfully shape health data research, with a particular interest in health inequalities and communities historically underrepresented in research.
