UKTMN Online event- Using routine healthcare data in clinical trials (1:10:41)

Topic

Starts6 December 2025

In response to the 2024 UK Trial Managers Network [UKTMN] training survey, which highlighted a gap in training on accessing and using routine healthcare data, the TOP-CAT research team from Cardiff’s Centre for Trials Research delivered an online session as part of HDR UK's ‘Transforming Data for Trials’ programme. The session provided an overview of the opportunities for linking to routine healthcare data, the types of data available, how to access them, and their potential to support clinical trial delivery. Please note that the Q&A and discussion segment was not included in the recording.

Intended audience:

This webinar was primarily targeted towards UK trial managers. It would also be of interest for those looking for a brief introduction and overview about why and how UK trials can use health systems data.
